In the past, the library was a quiet place for me to study for exams. For my undergraduate studies, there was never a need to use neither the library or the library database to search for articles, journals, books or publications.
This was my first graduate course when I started my journey as a graduate student. During this coursework, I learned the accurate process in searching information found in research libraries and on the internet. Furthermore, I also learned to write citations in APA format. The knowledge and experiences I gained in this course helped me immensely for my research papers in other courses.
Assignment: We were assigned in a group. My group chose to do a step-by-step video tutorial on “EBSCO databases.” The goal was to educate first time library database users for information searching.
